Francophone Innovation Network
The Francophone Innovation Network (Finnov) project is an initiative supported by the International Organization of La Francophonie (OIF) since 2013 whose interest has been emphasized by the declarations of the Summits of La Francophonie in Kinshasa, Dakar, Antananarivo and, more recently, Yerevan.
This project is part of a desire expressed by the Heads of State and Government to network innovation players while promoting initiatives in the field. Since its creation, Finnov has supported reflection on innovation, provided access to information in French and identified trends and innovative initiatives in the French-speaking world.
Through its online platform, Finnov provides strategic intelligence, research and information feedback on innovation in order to promote French-speaking tools, resources, initiatives and practices that can potentially serve as models in the field of innovation. The platform also offers a monitoring component dedicated to calls for projects, funding grants and the main events devoted to French-speaking innovation in order to encourage new projects in the countries of the South.
