DESIGN & SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT
CIRIDD is involved in the C3D (Design and Sustainable Development) innovation community alongside the Cité du design, the Collectif Designers + and the Ecodesign pole. Several workshops were organized to promote the design, eco-design and the circular economy with project leaders and companies.
The Design and Sustainable Development Innovation Community (C3D) brings together all the economic and academic players in these two disciplines in the territory of Saint Etienne Métropole (La Cité du design, Designer+, CIRIDD, the Eco-design cluster, the ENISE, the higher school of art and design, the school of architecture of Saint-Etienne, the school of Mines and the university of Saint-Etienne).
Metropolis Innovation Design
The MIND COMMITTEE (Métropole INnovation Design) consists of support implemented by Saint-Étienne Métropole for the creation/takeover of businesses within one of the Entrepreneurial Centers of the Métropole.
CIRIDD's role is to audit and select innovative projects within the framework of this support system.
In 2021, CIRIDD participated in 4 MIND selection committees and examined 20 applications.

Coordination device:
A real gateway to innovation, MIND mobilizes and animates the ecosystem of innovative players conducive to your development in order to offer you personalized support.
All of the innovation players (incubators, accelerators, funders, innovation communities), grouped within this system, coordinate around you in order to re-examine the entire architecture of your project and allow you to mature your idea and validate it in all areas (business and technical).
